About the Event
ACS and the Airport Minority Advisory Council (AMAC) are Hosting the Business & Leadership Workshop. This Fall 2018 Business & Leadership Workshop is a “roll your sleeves up” event with a combination of practical and proven programs used throughout various industries, but with an aviation and transportation twist. We’ve incorporated a practical application of strategic, business planning coupled with leadership execution and change management, allowing the attendees to learn, develop and exercise their own business leadership abilities based on the various sessions presented throughout the workshop. We’ll take two days exploring two main topics, Strategic Business Planning and Leadership Execution. We’ll begin with a day exploring proven the areas of Strategic and Business Planning along with their associated plans. The second half of the workshop will explore the various components of Leadership Execution and Change Management in the practical sense. The attendees will gain the tools and workshop experience through exercises focusing on their abilities to execute similar change management initiatives. Each of the sessions will offer attendees opportunities to explore the information in a workshop setting and how it applies to their respective organizations. This format will allow the attendees an opportunity to learn and takeaway proven models used throughout the industry as well as an opportunity to begin the processes for their organizations. By the end of the workshop, the attendees will have learned and exercised proven practices that are necessary for their individual development and growth. Who Should Attend?
Whether you’re a skilled leader or an emerging leader, there will be something for everyone. |

Business & Leadership Workshop
October 29 & 30, 2018 Courtyard Marriott – River North 30 East Hubbard Street Chicago, IL 60611 TestimonialsThere are many soft skills/leadership programs, but what emerging leaders need to know is how to organize, strategize and analyze complex issues in order to execute and get results. This program will be valuable as the airport leaders we are developing today must have strong business skills, which will be covered in this program.
